Quality Means Business . . .

Quailty Quality everywhere, you get to hear lot of quality this days specially if you are into IT field. Is it so important that every one shoud follow Quality. What if we do not want to have quality in place. What will happen ?. What effect will it make in a day to day life. Are we so use to Quality, that without which we cannot live.

So to answer all your questions, I would like to take you further in this blog, which i think makes quality a key concepts or aspect of everybody's life.

My Strong beleaf, which i always say that "Quality Means Business....." what does it mean. It would be a just simple three words like Quality, and Business. It is more to do with Business.

Well today all IT industry, work around delivering quality products to its client and as well client also expects a quality product for their money. To cater to clients requirements, industry indulge in Quality process and standards into their work process so that every employee follows the standards and process. To name a few standard of quality are SEI CMM, CMMI, ISO, SiX Sigma etc. who has defiend Quality.
Gaming is one of the emerging industry today where quality of the games developed is compromized a lot. Lets speak about much talk about Mobile gaming, specially in the Indian market. The Big players who are into Gaming in India, the leading game development company are very few like Indiagames, Hungama, Jumpgames, Nazara, Astute. and few more.
Quailty of mobile games developed in India are not up to the standards. The telecom provider in India like TATA Indicom, Reliance, Airtel and Vodafone are the one who get game developed from this Gaming company and then posted on thier deck to publish for thei mobile users. Who in turn download the game from the mobile deck and start playing on their Mobile phone.
A game is called a Quality game, only when the user playing for the first time understand the game in the intial 5 minutes of the game play. If the user is not able to understand the game in the initial 5 minutes then the game is not a good game. It should be easy to understand, demonstrative and attractive.
Testing of mobile games is a very tough job as well as Interesting job too because you get to play the games. To be a game tester one need to have lots of patience, Concentration, creativeness and passion for Games.
Game testing has many phases in its developmenet, same as what we have in any of the application development (SDLC).
